In an effort to encourage locals to embrace LA’s new plastic bag ban, Mayor Eric Garcetti and Councilmember Paul Koretz launched a contest to produce “the most interesting reusable tote bag in America,” which will be distributed across the city.

LADOT collaborated with Gallery Row Organization, a Downtown neighborhood association that supports local arts, to promote the competition among artists living in the City of Los Angeles.
